Shrimp Pan Fried Dumplings

Shrimp Pan Fried Dumplings

I came across this recipe for shrimp pan fried dumplings, and I couldn’t resist making these! I have never made homemade dumplings before, and let me tell you - hats off to those who make these by hand! So much respect I have for these people who are so skilled at making these delectable pocket sized treats.

This is another recipe from Marion’s Kitchen, I have been trying to bring variety to my meals and I hope it gives you some inspiration too! I want to try to make these again soon, maybe a plant based version? I was thinking also that if you are gluten-free, maybe try rice wrappers! Let me know in the comments what you have been making lately!

Some Tips:

  1. Weigh out the flour and water for the dough, it is spot on in order to make the perfect wrappers.

  2. Have a good amount of surface to roll out your wrappers, and have patience. If you’ve never made wrappers before, they need some practice to get right.

  3. I think that the filling could be mixed up to what you like, but the seasoning in the recipe could be the same. Think tofu, pork, or a combo of meats.

  4. Be careful when frying the dumplings, the oil will splatter, have a lid close by to protect yourself.

  5. Already have your condiments prepared before cooking dumplings.
